Meet Steve Machesney, Fathom’s VP of Strategy

Fathom recently named Steve Machesney as our new Vice President of Strategy. As an adviser to leadership and marketing teams, Steve will be integral to increasing business results with our clients’ investments in digital, brand and marketing strategies.

Startup Weekend: SmallTalk Leads to Big Things

This past weekend Fathom’s VP of Technology Ryan Rose had the winning idea and team at Startup Weekend Hartford. Congrats Ryan!
His idea is a phone app called “SmallTalk.” The app allows people attending live events to break the ice by starting conversations gathered from attendees’ LinkedIn and Facebook profiles.

Conference Recap: Automotive Marketing Research Council

This month I attended the Automotive Marketing Research Council‘s Spring Conference in Marco Island, Florida. The conference, titled “Surfing the Waves of Uncertain Economic Recovery,” focused on forecasting financial information for members in the industry.
The pool of presenters included super savvy market researchers who shared forecasting data that would blow consumers’ minds in terms of what companies are able to gather on their buying habits.
